Safety Tips for Sex Workers

      All SWOC services are available to anyone working in the sex industry.

Clackamas Health Clinic Provides :

  • Confidential healthcare
  • Assistance with legal referrals
  • Bad Date Line info
  • Safer sex supplies
  • Social Service, advocacy and referrals
  • Free 9-1-1 cell phones
  • HIV and STI testing
All services are free and confidential.  Hours are 9am-5pm Tuesday, and 1-5pm Thursday at Clackamas Service Center 8800 SE 80th Ave, off 82nd and Cornwell. Or call Portland Women's Crisis Line 24 hours a day - 503.235.5333 or 888.235.5333

Outreach and Training's

  • We provide regular outreach on the streets as well as to adult businesses i.e. lingerie modeling shops, strip clubs, and bookstores.
  • We provide training's on cultural competency regarding the Sex Industry and harm reduction to community members and social service agencies.
  • Volunteer street outreach training - conducted quarterly.

SWOC Projects

   The Sex Workers Outreach Coalition develops and implements a range of projects to help raise awareness and to promote safety for individuals working in the sex industry.

SWOC will hold general meetings the first Monday of every month. These meetings will provide an opportunity for new members to join the coalition and meet the current members. The agenda for these meetings will include updates on community information and referral, updates on SWOC projects, developing and organizing the implementation of new projects and training's presented by community agencies.
